14 years ago today Master Carlson Gracie passed away.
Master Carlson helped the growth of BJJ and MMA more than most people realize. I feel fortunate that I was able to meet him and earn my BJJ Black Belt under one of his highest ranked students Master Marcus Soares.

Sam sits down for an exclusive interview with jiu-jitsu legend, Fabio Gurgel of Alliance Jiu Jitsu. Fabio is a 4-time World Jiu-Jitsu Champion (1996-2001). He has been practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) since the age of 13 and received his black belt at the age of 19 from Romero "Jacaré" Cavalcanti.

Stuart Cooper Films did a great video of the living legend and Multiple BJJ World Champion Marcelo Garcia. Marcelo is another legend to come from the Alliance Team and is my all time favourite competitor, Mr. Garcia is also a shinning example of being a classy instructor and good human being.
