I was honoured to get my 2nd degree BJJ black Belt stripes from Fabio Gurgel in Las Vegas last week at the Alliance JIu-Jitsu Team conference .

I earned my BJJ Black Belt in Nov. 02, 2014 from Master Marcus Soares. Fun fact Master Soares was just given the great honour to be promoted to BJJ Red Belt just a couple of weeks ago. They’re only maybe a few dozen BJJ Red Belts alive in the whole world. Such a great honour!

It's official that First Strike Martial Arts Arts Academy is now apart of the Alliance International Jiu-Jitsu Team. First Strike Martial Arts Academy will be re-branding to become Alliance Jiu-Jitsu Academy - Kelowna. We are excited with our growth and to apart of the #1 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu team in the world 11 x World Champions Alliance Jiu-Jitsu.
